PROAFTOL is a combination of propolis and several essential oils that have a greater number of pharmacological actions. The product is an effective remedy for canker sores. Proaphthol is a borderline product that is intended to relieve the symptoms of aphthae, gingivitis, stomatitis, alveolitis, erosions of non-infectious and infectious etiology, decubitus and x-ray ulcers. The constituent components of Proaphtol have a bactericidal action against a large number of bacteria (mostly Gram-positive), then antiviral (Herpes simplex and A2 influenza virus), antiseptic, anesthetic and antioxidant action, which is enhanced by the presence of the anesthetic. Composition: 25% propolis in diluted alcohol, Essential oils of: sage (Salviae off.) 0.4 g.; Mint (Menthae piperitae) 0.6 g.; Anise (Ol.Anisi) 0.3 g.; Menthol Menthol 0.6 g.; Anesthesine 3.0 g. Dosage: After 2-3 sprays, 3-4 times a day, half an hour before meals.
