What Exoderil is and what it is used for Exoderil is an anti-fungal drug used on the skin. It is recommended for the treatment of the following infections: - fungal infections of the hand, located at the interdigital level and at the level of the nails (onychomycosis); - fungal infections of the skin or skin folds (tinea corporis, tinea inguinali s); - Candida infections of the skin; - fungal infections of the foot, especially at the interdigital level, at the level of the sole and at the level of the nails (oncomycosis); - inflammatory dermatomycoses (with or without itching). Exoderil, in addition to the antifungal effect, also has antibacterial activity against various gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, which can appear often associated with fungal infections. In addition, an anti-inflammatory effect occurs during clinical use; this effect leads to rapid relief of inflammatory signs, especially itching.
