CALMFLEX® 10%/5.4%/1.3% PAIN RELIEF CREAM Active substances 1 g cream contains 100 mg methyl salicylate, 54 mg levomenthol and 13 mg eugenol (clove essential oil) Pharmaceutical form Cream for external use Action The active substances in Calmflex 10%/5.4%/1.3% cream improve circulation in the skin, lead to heating of the treated surface and reduce pain at the application site. Therapeutic indications For the reduction of pain caused by inflammation of the joints and muscles or stretching of the muscles, neuralgia, rheumatism, arthritis, as well as luxation of the joints. It is also used to reduce pain in minor sports injuries, when there are no skin injuries. Dosage and method of use Calmflex 10%/5.4%/1.3% cream is applied in a thin layer with gentle rubbing on the affected areas. The procedure can be repeated after a few hours (usually 3 to 4 times a day). Contraindications Use is contraindicated in patients allergic to methyl salicylate and other salicylates, menthol and eugenol (essential oil of cloves), cetyl alcohol or any other excipient. If there is an open wound on the skin, if it is damaged or irritated. Not to be used by persons under 12 years of age. If you are on therapy with oral anticoagulants (warfarin, acenocoumarol, dicumarol) why is there a risk of bleeding.
